Now Hiring: Shift Engineering Supervisor PSV/HGV – Glasgow - Permenant Position
Salary: £44,658 | Permanent | Full-Time
Venatu Automotive are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our valued client for the role of Shift Engineering Supervisor based at a well-established depot in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a PSV / HGV Engineer ready to step into leadership, or for someone who is already a supervisor looking for a fresh opportunity to make a real difference in a forward-thinking engineering environment.
The Role
* Overseeing the servicing and maintenance of the fleet to meet legal and safety standards
* Allocating daily workloads and managing reactive issues effectively
* Leading and mentoring a high-performing engineering team
* Ensuring optimal vehicle availability to meet service needs
* Managing workshop stock and supporting warranty claim processes
* Recording engineering performance and ensuring environmental compliance
* Working closely with operational teams to maintain service reliability
* Handling team performance matters, including conduct, absence, and training
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08am - 16.30pm
? What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
* PSV or HGV engineering background is highly desirable
* Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence is a bonus – training can be provided)
* Sound knowledge of workshop safety and compliance
* Right to work in the UK
