As a Coffee Shop Assistant with Honesty Group, you will serve our customers delicious coffee, freshly-baked bread, cakes, and pastries, while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Hours: Zero hour contract (covering holiday or sickness)
Must be able to drive, as your role requires floating to our different locations across Newbury.
This position involves floating between locations, providing flexibility and varied experience, which could lead to further career opportunities within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
* Providing excellent customer service
* Supporting with events
* Answering phone inquiries and taking orders
* Preparing food and drinks, checking temperatures per Food Safety guidelines
* Clearing tables and washing up
* Engaging with customers
* Handling customer complaints professionally
* Using work laptop, checking emails and Slack regularly
Opening the Coffee Shop:
* Receiving and displaying goods, reporting shortages
* Stock rotation and date checks
* Displaying products and updating menu boards
* Conducting fridge and temperature checks
* Ensuring shop cleanliness and readiness for service
General Duties:
* Maintaining shop cleanliness and stock levels
* Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning facilities
* Managing outdoor areas and stockroom
* Checking equipment and logging waste
* Cash handling and security
* Supporting social media content creation
Requirements to Join:
* Ability to work proactively and as part of a team
* Calm, cheerful, and helpful demeanor
* Respect for food safety and health and safety standards
