Job Description
The main roles of the Principal Planner are to take responsibility, as directed by the Planning and Building Standards Team Leader, for:
* Processing and administering planning applications.
* Leading negotiations of developer contributions.
* Overseeing the effective monitoring of developments and dealing with consequential enforcement actions.
* Contributing to service work on Local Development Planning and Placemaking.
