Key Responsibilities Deliver teaching, assessment, and feedback to ensure excellent learner outcomes. Plan and develop schemes of work, course materials, and group profiles. Support and track student progress through SMART targets and timely interventions. Undertake internal verification and moderation duties. Embed English and maths within teaching and learning. Liaise with employers and support student work placements. Contribute to recruitment, enrolment, open evenings, and promotional activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and College policies. Candidate Profile Level 5 Teaching Qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET) or willingness to achieve within 3 years. Relevant Level 3/4 qualification, HND, degree, or industry equivalent in Early Years. Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths. Assessor Award (A1/TQA/CAVA) desirable. Substantial, recent Early Years sector experience. Strong knowledge of curriculum initiatives and developments.
