For the successful Engineering Supervisor, our client is offering:
Salary of £52,288.57 p/a
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00, however, flexibility will be required to the needs of the business.

The Role – Engineering Supervisor:
Lead and develop a team of shift engineers through performance management, mentoring, and appraisals
Deliver proactive, planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment meets capacity and efficiency targets
Provide hands-on support with reactive maintenance when required, minimising machine downtime
Ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors to the manufacturing facility
Drive continuous improvement and implement energy optimisation initiatives
Manage contractors on-site and ensure effective project delivery
Support the introduction and commissioning of new equipment as part of innovation and expansion plans
Oversee team workload and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments and communicate effectively to manage expectations
Maintain audit readiness in partnership with the Technical and QA teams
Commit to ongoing professional development and support a high-performance team culture
What our client is looking for in an Engineering Supervisor:
Demonstrable experience in a similar engineering leadership role – ESSENTIAL
Time-served, multi-skilled engineer with hands-on technical ability – ESSENTIAL
Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-focused approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in lean manufacturing principles – DESIRABLE
Previous experience in food manufacturing – DESIRABLE
