Our Social Care workforce provides services to children, young people and their families day in and day out, making a positive impact on the lives of people within the community. We’re looking for a compassionate and driven experienced Social Worker to join Family Help and Protection Service. If you believe every child deserves safety, stability, and a voice, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

You will carry a caseload and you will work with children subject to child protection plans, child in need plans, private fostering, and care proceedings including private and public law. You will work closely with families, partner agencies, and colleagues to assess risk, build safety, and support positive change.

You’ll be at the frontline of safeguarding children, working with families to assess risk, build trust, and create safe environments. You’ll collaborate with multi-agency teams to deliver timely interventions and long-term support.

The Family Help and Protection service benefits from a stable committed management team, a supportive network of colleagues and an infrastructure that enables successful social work. We are committed to working as a close knit and integrated team to deliver the best outcomes for our children.

Due to internal progression this has created an opportunity within our service, we now have one Social Worker post available.

This is a great time to join the team as we continue to grow as a service, progressing well and offering fantastic opportunities to grow and develop. We work closely with all out partners and share mutual expectations of trust and reliability.
