About the role
The post holder will be responsible for designing and conducting mixed-methods behavioural research within the BR-UK research consortium. They will conduct research studies about national capability-building in behavioural research and will also collaborate on research across the consortium (touching upon any of the BR-UK work packages and themes). Research studies may involve (but are not limited to) mixed-methods surveys, qualitative interviews, participatory workshops, rapid and systematic reviews, and secondary data analysis. The post-holder will contribute to implementing and evaluating capability-building initiatives such as coaching, training, a resource hub, and may contribute to an ‘Ask BR-UK’ advice service. They will develop and maintain stakeholder relationships spanning public, private and third sectors and support development of BR-UK’s Network. The post holder will support and develop BR-UK’s emerging research into the application of AI and systems approaches to behavioural research.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.

About you
Applicants should have (or be close to completing) a PhD or equivalent research experience in a behavioural discipline, such as (but not limited to) behavioural science, psychology, economics, sociology, anthropology, political science, education, or management with experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative research about human behaviour, from design to publication.
