Machine Operator
Location: BedfordContract: Permanent – Immediate startSalary: £26,951 per annum + £3,288.96 Shift PremiumHours: 4 on 4 off, rotational days and nights, 6am - 6pm & 6pm - 6am
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Bedford, is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team as a Machine Operator on a permanent basis.
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in their industry leading production facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and adhere to Health and Safety standards.
* Set up and diagnose machinery to ensure maximum efficiency.
* Identify and troubleshoot process faults.
* Maintain product quality to specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance and pre-start HACCP checks.
* Keep work areas clean and organised.
* Meet daily production targets.
* Take on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
* Reliable and target-driven.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience in a process environment is a plus.
* Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
* Physically fit, able to work across multiple floors and at heights.
