About the Role
We're hiring a Connected Vehicle Validation Engineer to support the testing and validation of cutting‑edge connected car and telematics systems. This is a hands‑on role working across vehicle systems, mobile apps, and wearable technology, ideal for a junior or mid‑level engineer looking to grow in automotive validation.
Key Responsibilities
* End‑to‑end validation testing of connected vehicle features
* Test connected services via mobile apps and smart devices
* Raise and manage incident tickets through to resolution
* Conduct root cause analysis and fault investigation
* Ensure vehicle‑level quality, functionality, and reliability
* Prepare test environments and validation resources
* Support data analysis and test automation using Python
Skills & Experience
* Experience in validation, testing, or automotive engineering (desirable)
* Knowledge of Python (data analysis, scripting, or automation)
* Understanding of validation processes / test methodologies
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
* Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office tools
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Strong communication skills
Requirements
* Full UK or EU driving licence (essential)
* Willingness to travel internationally (short‑term trips)
* Flexible approach to hybrid working (Cranfield site attendance required)
