Job Description
Reporting to the Independent Living Manager, you will be responsible for providing an intensive housing management service to our customers. This includes developing successful relationships, assisting prospective customers to view properties and settle into their accommodation, assisting in tenancy management matters, and ensuring customers understand their rights and responsibilities per their tenancy agreement.
The successful candidate will work 23 hours per week, covering Monday & Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9:00am - 2:30pm, across our sites in Sheffield. You will need a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accessible service: Assist customers in accessing housing benefit assistance or financial advice to pay rent/service charges.
2. Promoting independence: Complete referrals for assistive technology, aids, and adaptations to help maintain customer independence.
3. Health & Safety compliance: Carry out periodic site inspections and tests to ensure the scheme is fully operational and compliant, monitoring the quality of contractors such as window cleaning and grounds maintenance.
4. Stakeholder engagement: Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues across Guinness to ensure seamless service delivery regarding management, maintenance, and security of the scheme.

Essential:
* Experience supporting the elderly and vulnerable in an advisory role, fostering cooperation and independence.
* Commitment to Equality and Diversity.
* Ability to adapt communication style to individual needs and explain technical information clearly.
* Experience with administrative tasks, including numeracy work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
