Overview
Full‑time band 6 Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Specialist Nurse position within the Neurology Specialist Nurses team. A background in neurology is not essential as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
As post holder you will provide comprehensive care for patients with MS, including direct patient care, education on symptom management, and support following diagnosis. You will also serve as a resource for other healthcare professionals. You will promote a high standard of professional care, uphold and influence professional and Trust values, and develop, implement, and evaluate care packages for MS patients. Staff are expected to act as role models, demonstrating the Trust’s PRIDE values – people focused, respect, integrity, dedication, and excellence – and to support an inclusive culture.
