Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging history lessons to students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
* Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment
* Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the curriculum
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and resources
* Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in History or related field
* Experience teaching history at the secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills

* Excellent knowledge of the history curriculum

* Experience with exam board specifications
Working Conditions:
* Regular school hours with additional time for lesson planning and grading
* Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
* Potential participation in extracurricular activities and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
