Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Chelmsford
Salary Range: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are on the lookout for an imaginative Art Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chelmsford. This is your chance to bring colour, creativity, and critical thinking into the classroom, helping students express themselves through visual arts.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and creative lessons in Art across the students.
* Encourage students’ artistic expression using a range of materials and techniques.
* Assess and track student progress, offering feedback and support to promote improvement.
* Organise and display student artwork throughout the school.
* Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and artistic exploration.
* Collaborate with staff on school-wide events and exhibitions.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Previous experience of teaching Art in a school setting.
* A strong portfolio of your own work and/or examples of previous student success.
* Strong classroom management skills and a creative teaching approach.
* Passion for the arts and inspiring young minds.
* Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
