Paediatric Clinical Lead Community Complex
Location: Peterborough and Cambridgeshire
Working pattern: Hybrid with 2 days from home and 3 days in the community
Salary: Up to £55,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
We are recruiting a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join a well-established, nurse-led provider delivering high-quality community-based care to children with complex health needs. Due to continued growth across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, this is a stable, long-term leadership opportunity.
About the Role As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership across community packages, supporting children, families, and care teams to deliver safe, person-centred care. This role suits an experienced paediatric nurse who enjoys autonomy, leadership, and building strong relationships in the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinical oversight of paediatric community care packages
* Completion of assessments, care plans, and ongoing reviews
* Training, competency sign-off, and clinical supervision of staff
* Liaison with families, MDTs, and commissioners
* Maintaining high clinical standards across all packages
Essential Requirements
* Registered Childrens Nurse (RSCN or RN Child) with an active NMC PIN
* Minimum of 3 years UK experience in paediatric or community-based care
* Leadership or supervisory experience
* Recent experience with tracheostomy care and ventilation within the last 2 years
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
