The Role
Responsibilities
You will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering high-quality teaching that inspires curiosity, confidence, and independence. Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Upper KS2 curriculum
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and ambitious classroom environment
* Supporting pupils' academic progress, confidence, and independence
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, senior leaders, and families
* Contributing to enrichment opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom

* Experienced Year 5 or Upper KS2 teachers

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or currently working towards QTS as an ECT
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (including during training placements)
* Strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management
* A clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
