The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager involves working closely with the Restaurant Manager and operational team to support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences in The House of KOKO.
This position requires a true passion for hospitality, food & beverage, and team management.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead teams in providing exceptional service and ensuring a unique guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of restaurant services, including guest experience, set up, and service.
2. Collaborate with the Guest Relations team to enhance the Members' experience.
3. E nsure all areas are set and ready for service according to expectations, conducting team briefs as necessary.
4. Foster strong relationships with the wider operations team, ensuring training is engaging and effective.
5. Drive quality, consistency, and overall guest service and experience on all levels at all times.
6. Supervise Front of House staff to deliver high-quality services in a challenging work environment.
7. Maintain capacity in each floor to ensure atmosphere and licence compliance.
8. Determine staffing needs based on sales volume, special events, and holidays, creating cost-efficient rota accordingly.
9. Manage teams specific to their floor, supporting recruitment, performance evaluations, and addressing any issues with staff members.
10. Obtain feedback on service quality and address members' queries with solutions.
11. Contribute to departmental inventory, ordering, and financial control points.
12. Evaluate, respond, and make recommendations based upon member and guests' needs to exceed service expectations.
13. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations and licencing at all times.
