Your Next Job – What You’ll Be Doing As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Cost Management: Support the Commercial Manager in tracking project costs, variations, and valuations throughout the refurbishment lifecycle. Procurement Assistance: Help procure subcontract packages, issue orders, and assist in cost reporting and forecasting. Subcontractor Engagement: Monitor subcontractor accounts, track payments, and support contract administration. Project Collaboration: Work alongside the site and project management teams to ensure financial control and commercial efficiency. Client & Consultant Liaison: Attend meetings and contribute to maintaining strong client and consultant relationships. Reporting: Assist with monthly CVRs and contribute to risk management strategies.
