Graduate Cover Supervisor

Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Gateshead and surrounding areas. This flexible role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching, education, or youth support who want practical experience in schools.
Location
Gateshead
️ Applicants must be based in the North East due to the temporary nature of this role.
Hours
* Full time and Part time opportunities
* Flexible, temporary assignments available
Pay: £120 - £140 per day
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Supervise pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Support students in completing work set by the class teacher
* Encourage pupils to stay engaged and focused throughout lessons
* Build positive relationships with students and staff
* Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies
You will not be required to plan lessons or mark work, making this an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience and develop confidence working with young people.

Cover Supervisor Requirements
* A degree-level qualification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence working with young people
* A professional, reliable, and positive attitude
Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential.
