Ready to kickstart your BD career in a booming industry?
Whilst working part-time each day?
A fast-growing consultancy is at the heart of the UK's nuclear energy renaissance, helping innovative companies break into the nuclear supply chain.
They're looking for their first team member to join the mission.
This isn't just another BD role; it's a chance to get in on the ground floor of a business with huge potential, a passionate founder, and clear progression opportunities.
The Role:
As the new Business Development Executive, you'll be the face of the consultancy and its clients. You'll occasionally travel to industry events (1-2 times per quarter), build relationships with key players, and hunt down new opportunities.
Most of your time will be spent on research, relationship building, and proposal development from your home office.
This is a part-time role (25 hours/week) with real flexibility. The ideal schedule is 10am-3pm daily, but there's openness to what works for you.
The salary is £35k-£40k (if the role was full-time), and you'll be working remotely from anywhere in the UK.
Who they're looking for:
Professionals currently in roles such as:
* Business Development Executive/Associate
* Sales Executive or Account Executive
* Commercial Executive
* Technical Sales Executive
* Customer Success Executive
* Marketing Executive (with BD experience)
* Recent graduates in BD roles (2-3 years experience)
Essential requirements:
* 2-5 years of B2B sales or BD experience, ideally in a technical or regulated sector
* Strong LinkedIn skills for lead generation and relationship building (quality engagement, not spam!)
* Natural relationship-builder who thrives at events
* Curious, resilient, and excited by the idea of learning about the nuclear industry
* Self-starter who works well independently but loves to collaborate
Nuclear experience is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker. The focus is on your drive, your BD skills, and your passion for learning.
Why join them?
* Career Growth: Clear progression path to Business Development Manager as the company expands
* Flexibility: A part-time role that fits around your life
* Impact: You'll be their first hire, playing a crucial role in the growth story
* Industry: Get into the booming nuclear sector at a pivotal time
* Support: Investment in you with a 3-month coaching program and a great benefits package
