We are looking for a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence by improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting new product introductions from concept through to production.

Manufacturing Engineer
Key Responsibilities
* Optimize manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
* Drive process control and capability to ensure reliable, repeatable production.
* Apply Lean and industrial engineering tools (Kaizen, time studies, VSM, line balancing).
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and first-time quality.
* Support industrialization of new products including tooling, work instructions, and validation plans.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth design-to-production transitions using DFMA principles.
* Implement and lead APQP, PPAP, and related readiness and approval processes.
* Conduct structured problem-solving using RCA, 8D, and DMAIC methodologies.
* Define and maintain routings, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
* Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and gauging to enhance quality and repeatability.
* Monitor performance metrics (yield, scrap, RFT, throughput) and drive data-led improvements.
* Support technical training on processes, tools, and quality methods.
* Contribute to capital investment projects including equipment upgrades and capacity expansion.
Manufacturing Engineer
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within high-spec environments (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar).
* Worked in industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, nuclear, marine
* Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
* Strong knowledge of process capability (Cp, Cpk), SPC, and statistical validation tools.
* Proven background in continuous improvement and Lean implementation.
* Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
* Skilled in documenting and optimizing complex manufacturing workflows.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across technical and production teams.
