Fullstack React Software Engineer III- Java at JPMorganChase
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level. As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within GLOBAL BANKING TECHNOLOGY, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
* Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using ReactJS and Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams.
* Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
* Creates secure and high-quality production ready UI .
* Produces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
* Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
* Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
* Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
* Experience in application development, with a focus on creating efficient and user-friendly software.
* Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Qualifications
* Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
* Design and develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React, HTML, and CSS, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
* Proficiency in using TypeScript to develop robust applications.
* Implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring consistency and efficiency in UI development.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them to improve the user experience.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
* Strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js
* Proficiency in testing to ensure software quality and reliability and user-friendly software
* Experience in building reusable components
* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working closely with product teams to understand business requirements
* Ability to collaborate effectively with UX teams to refine design concepts
* Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
* Familiarity of Kubernetes, GraphQL
* Understanding of agile practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
