The business is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate will be focused and able to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen brigade and overseeing daily kitchen operations.
* Create exceptional dishes using high-quality ingredients in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.
* Maintain high standards of presentation, portion control, and kitchen cleanliness.
* Work closely with the Head Chef to drive continuous improvement and ensure consistency across service.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Sound kitchen experience from a fine dining setting.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Clear passion for the industry and food.
* Natural ability as a chef with outstanding attention to detail.
* Ambition to succeed at the highest level.
* Dedicated, excellent team player and able to step up in the Head Chef’s absence.
* Previous experience at Sous Chef level in a restaurant or hotel setting.
