Position Summary:
Central Suites is one of the fastest growing independent property businesses in Oxfordshire. The award winning company has grown dramatically since being established back in 2019. Since then we have doubled in size annually. We deliver a mix of award winning residential developments and co-living properties in Oxfordshire. Join our small but growing team today and make an impact on our fast paced project management. Our project values range between £30-300k, typically working on more than 3 projects at any given time.
Main Summary: ‘Run and deliver projects on time and within budget’
Main duties:
* Technical project lead for house renovations, managing contracts, dealing with planning
* Provide design and costing input to the land and acquisitions team on technical matters pre-purchase, project initiating, project delivery, and handover or exit
* Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle
* Manage the tender process but also manage the contractor
* Co-ordinating external consultants including architects, building control, engineers, interior designers, planning consultants, quantity surveyors and any others specific to individual projects
* Manage planning submissions, coordinate the discharge of planning conditions, and gain technical approvals (building control, warranty providers, SAP/EPC, Party Wall Awards etc.)
* Ensure that construction projects comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to update on project progress, issues, and solutions
* Review and correct design information, and assist in resolving design and site queries
* Conduct site inspections to ensure work complies with approved plans and designs
* Project manage and monitor progress for delivery of schemes
* Point of contact for all consultants and contractors
* Input and co-ordinate the Interior Design and staging/marketing material for Sales
* Ensure professional handover of the project upon completion
Essentials:
* Must have full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle for travel (expenses reimbursed)
* Must be able to work flexibly from office, home and visit various site locations
* Strong experience in the design and delivery of residential refurbishment
* A degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject area
Key Skills:
* Use of AutoCAD to update and amend technical drawings in-house to speed up our processes
* Discretion and trustworthiness
* The ability to take on responsibility and make decisions

* Organised
* Technologically savvy with good working knowledge of Google Drive
