We are recruiting an experienced housekeeper to provide a pleasant, safe and clean environment within a Care Home in Widnes. The successful candidate will perform cleaning and domestic duties as required by the Home Manager, ensuring premises and equipment are cleaned in accordance with the hygiene plan. The role will involve treating all of the people we support with dignity and respect whilst carrying out these duties, maintaining excellent standards of conduct at all times. This for 16 hours per week over 5 days hours between 10am and 3pm Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: The successful candidate will ideally have experience in providing cleaning and domestic services in a care home or similar environment. Additionally, it would be desirable to have a GCSE standard of education or equivalent, as well as a qualification in dementia or social care. To succeed, you’ll need good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to keep clear and accurate records, excellent organisational details and a full and clear knowledge of all aspects of legislation relative to hotel services such as COSHH and Health and Safety at Work.
