As a Senior Product Manager at Civica, you will be responsible for defining the strategic vision for your team driven by Civica's overall vision and creating product roadmaps that align with Civica's strategic goals. You will lead by example and have hands-on execution of the product strategy across a suite of products, ensuring that product development practices and roadmaps are aligned to our global vision, to maximise productivity and growth.
You will lead a team of product managers, collaborating with product design, user research, engineering, and commercial teams. You will oversee lifecycle management of your portfolio of products, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision of becoming a global GovTech champion, whilst delivering critical products and services to citizens around the world.
The successful candidate will have line management responsibility for their teams, including performance reviews, regular check-ins, and ensuring team members reach their maximum potential.
What you will do to be successful in this role as Senior Product Manager
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business goals to define and refine the product roadmap and strategy
* Work closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success teams to ensure successful product development and launch
* Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research to gather feedback and insights that inform product decisions
* Define and prioritize product requirements to guide the engineering process
* Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of product features and releases
* Plan and execute successful product launches in collaboration with the Product Marketing team, including developing launch plans, positioning, and messaging
* Analyze data and metrics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven product decisions
* Lead and mentor product managers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and expertise
* Champion a strong culture of knowledge sharing, product decision-making, and design documentation
Requirements
Core competencies:
* Extensive experience in senior product management, leading multiple products and teams
* Proven track record of developing and executing growth-driving product strategies
* Experience leading high-performing cross-functional teams
* Background in software or product-led organizations, launching and growing multiple products
* Ability to prioritize features and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
* Experience building and executing product roadmaps aligned with customer and company goals
* Effective collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams
* Adaptability to changing market conditions and priorities
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills to articulate product vision and value to stakeholders
