Completed in 2023, this eight-storey building offers a blend of high-end retail and office spaces, making it a standout property in one of London's most sought-after locations Information: Position: Security Officer Location: Central London (W1S) Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour Hours: Average 54 hours per week Shifts: Days & Nights - Rolling Roster - (Week1) Monday to Wednesday - Nights, Saturday & Sunday - Days (Week 2) Thursday to Sunday - Nights Job Requirements: SIA Licence required Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage Ex forces would be an advantage Must be flexible and be able to workdays, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills Reliable, Responsible and Punctual A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable Job Responsibilities: Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and have a proactive and ever evolving approach towards their duties. Able to achieve high standards in a fast-paced customer focused environment and to have an attitude that strives for continuous improvement. Must be able to be at site at 06:50 or 18:50 for each shift. Able to lead by example and develop the team’s progression in all assignment duties. Have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Able to adapt to new duties added to the assignment as the contract evolves. To prevent unauthorised access while remaining professional at all times. To ensure that the customer Permit to work system is always adhered to. To assist and respond to all fire alarm activations in a calm and professional demeanour. To be vigilant and observant of visitors and occupiers ensuring no baggage is left unattended and applicable signage is placed correctly, I.E wet floor signs. To book visitors in whilst announcing the visitor to the appropriate person(s) To conduct regular internal and external patrols and as per the site’s assignment instructions. Report any patrol observations and or defects to the Security Manager as well as documenting it appropriately. To prevent unauthorised personnel from entering the premises. To assist members of the public and or visitors who may need our help with local information.
