Job Description Summary GE’s Power Conversion business, part of GE Vernova, provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies. This role is a key part of the Marine Project Team, forming part of the leadership group with our structure, and also managing a group of project and programme managers. The successful candidate will be joining a relatively new team with significant opportunity to drive the growth and develop the strategy of the team, as well as working on some of the most strategic projects that the business has. Job Description In this role you will focus on: Managing a team of project and programme managers Managing own portfolio of projects Supporting Marine Implementation and the integration of the PMO Lead on key aspects of progress and financial reporting e.g. project reviews Being an integral part of shaping the Marine business strategy and the tactical and operational level A key player in continuous improvement initiatives We are looking for a committed and professional individual with Programme manager experience – at least 10 years People leadership experience Good knowledge of the Marine business A candidate with project management certification Excellent stakeholder management skills A problem solver who can deconflict and adapt A candidate with strong decision-making skills The ability to coach and motivate others You can expect from us Challenging and exciting projects.
