Overview
We are recruiting for a Senior Clinical Radiology Department Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The post is based at Lister Hospital, but the post holder will be expected to rotate to the New QEII Hospital and cover occasional shifts at Hertford County Hospital as required.
Responsibilities
* Preparing clinical areas, supporting clinical staff during examinations and procedures and supporting patients both physically and emotionally.
* Carrying out some administrative and reception tasks in the role.
* Supervising, supporting and training the Clinical Radiology Department Assistants within the department.
* Providing cannulation training to support the CT and MRI services.
Experience and Training
* Proven experience of working as a Clinical Radiology Department Assistant (ideal).
* The successful candidate will be trained to cannulate.
* The role includes supervision and training duties within the department.
