Having been appointed to several UK AMP8/9 water consultancy frameworks, we are looking for a Project Technical Lead to manage the technical delivery of wastewater projects/programme of works, coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams. You would build on the good work done in establishing our frameworks and work with our technical discipline leads to ensure projects within the wastewater programme are delivered on time and within budget. This will be a customer‑facing role requiring close working relationships with our clients as part of a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
* Manage the technical delivery of wastewater projects/programmes.
* Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Participate in client‑facing project development and delivery.
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to the next generation of talent within the business.
Qualifications
* Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution.
* Understanding of conventional and innovative wastewater treatment technologies.
* Track record of engineering technical coordination.
* Experience in development and delivery of feasibility and outline design solutions within the UK water sector.
* Ability to support bids, fee proposals or offers of service.
* Ability to check and review technical deliverables, calculations and reports.
* Strong communication skills with experience in effective collaboration across internal multi‑disciplinary teams as well as client teams.
* Desire to take a leading role with client engagement.
* Track record of developing junior staff (desirable).
* Understanding of key wastewater sector treatment and sustainability needs (desirable).
* Understanding of drivers for treatment investment in England and Wales (desirable).
* Excellent technical report writing skills using concise English (desirable).
