Job Description
Our client, a well-established legal practice, is seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join their growing team. The role offers the chance to manage a varied and complex caseload across private and corporate immigration matters, providing high-quality advice and representation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a full immigration caseload from instruction to completion.
* Advise on Skilled Worker visas, Sponsor Licence applications, family and private life applications, EU Settlement Scheme matters, student and visitor routes, British citizenship, ILR, and human rights/asylum claims.
* Prepare and submit visa applications, appeals, administrative reviews, and supporting documentation.
* Draft detailed legal submissions, representations, and witness statements.
* Liaise with the Home Office, courts, tribunals, and external counsel.
* Maintain compliance with SRA standards and internal processes.
* Contribute to team objectives and departmental targets.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Immigration Caseworker.
* Minimum 13 years PQE (or relevant experience) in immigration law.
* Appeals experience essential.
* Strong knowledge of UK Immigration Rules and legislation.
* Excellent client care, drafting, and advocacy skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
