Hours: 8:30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a school‑adjacent nursery in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting childrens learning and development in a nurturing, child‑centred environment.
Responsibilities
* Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can thrive.
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Observe, assess, and record each child's development and progress.
* Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with families.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
* Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare procedures are upheld at all times.
Qualifications
* Cache Level 3 (or equivalent) Early Years/Childcare qualification.
* Proven nursery or early years experience.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
* Passion for supporting learning through play‑based activities.
* Positive, proactive, and flexible team player.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Applicants must hold a CACHE Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years/Childcare and we are only considering candidates with proven qualifications and experience in nursery settings.
