We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Internal Recruiter to join our central team in Blackburn. This is a unique opportunity to recruit across two rewarding sectors - adults' supported living services and specialist education settings for children - and help us build strong, passionate teams across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing
As part of our in-house recruitment team, you will manage the full recruitment cycle across multiple locations and service types. Your role will include:
* Recruiting for key roles such as:
o Support Workers, Team Leaders, and Registered Managers (Adults Services)
o SEN Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Pastoral Staff (Children's Schools)
* Writing and posting job adverts that attract the right candidates
* Screening CVs and shortlisting suitable applicants
* Liaising with hiring managers and scheduling interviews
* Managing and maintaining our ATS
* Ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience
* Supporting with compliance checks, including DBS and referencing
* Representing SCGMS at careers fairs and recruitment events

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is people-focused, organised, and genuinely passionate about recruiting with purpose.
* Previous experience in internal or agency recruitment (care or education sectors ideal)
* Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders
* Familiar with job boards, social media recruitment, and ATS platforms
* Understanding of safer recruitment practices
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive team player who thrives in a supportive environment
