We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team at our on campus Co-op franchise store. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the overall operations of our store.
Overview:
As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store is clean and well-maintained. You will work closely with the rest of the team to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties:
* Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Organizing and restocking merchandise on shelves.
* Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the store.
* Operating the till and processing transactions accurately.
* Providing product information and recommendations to customers.
* Assisting in inventory management and stock replenishment.
* Assisting customers in finding the products they are looking for
* Following all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred.
* Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
