Duties & responsibilities: Maintain exemplary professional standards and quality assurance in all aspects of patient care. Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of MRI, understand MRI protocols and MR safety procedures that will ensure compliance of the radiotherapy department with national MRI safety regulations. Ensure the safe and accurate administration of MRL treatments, including accurate documentation in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Maintain effective liaison with relevant multi-disciplinary staff to ensure the provision of a high-quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow through the department. Responsible for carrying out radiotherapy treatment processes as part of the pathway. Meet the responsibilities as defined for an operator as delegated by HCA under IRMER regulations. Provides relevant competencies to assess radiotherapy images as part of the radiotherapy pathway. What you’ll bring: DCR(T)/BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent HCPC registration Minimum of 18 months radiotherapy experience which must include a wide range of advanced radiotherapy techniques to include SABR.
