Clean Water Network Modellers/Engineers – All levels.
Locations: Cardiff, Belfast, Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Epsom, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Peterborough, Warrington.
AtkinsRéalis is a leading name in the Water Networks sector, shaping future water network management both in the UK and internationally. Due to growth in our Water business, we are recruiting Clean Water Network Modellers/Engineers across UK offices. These roles offer flexible working arrangements, with all listed UK offices as potential home bases. Successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team working on projects for Water Companies, Local Authorities, developers, and possibly international clients.
The team operates within Asset Planning & Solutions, focusing on water and wastewater projects, including designing water supply networks, trunk mains, drainage improvements, and flood mitigation schemes. Responsibilities involve feasibility studies, computer modelling, operational and environmental analysis, and developing innovative water management solutions. Full training on modelling software such as Synergee, InfoWorks, GIS packages, etc., will be provided.
Senior roles require experience in model usage, hydraulic analysis, and technical leadership. Key requirements include management of modelling teams, development of innovative solutions, building and calibrating network models, and experience with software like SYNERGI, INFOWORKS WS, EPANET, Infowater.
Qualifications include a degree in geography, GIS, science, engineering, or related fields, with professional qualifications for senior roles. Technician roles require HNC or HND qualifications, with opportunities for further qualification.
Responsibilities encompass developing models to investigate water network issues, data analysis, advising clients, preparing reports, and adhering to health and safety standards.
