What the Job Involves As a Team Leader for Trading Standards, you will support the existing team leader to manage the Food and H&S team. Your responsibilities will include delivering the food hygiene and standards inspection program, investigating food and health & safety complaints, and providing expert advice on complex cases. You will lead projects, manage outsourced statutory duty contracts, and ensure enforcement aligns with Council policies. You'll oversee performance and service delivery through various HR functions, manage the team’s workload, and ensure compliance with the Food Law Code of Practice. A full driving license is essential for this role.
