Job Description: Production Engineer We are looking for a motivated and skilled Production Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, practical experience, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects, including process mapping, product flow optimisation, and shop floor layout enhancements. * Program, prove, and operate a range of machinery such as CNC profile machining centres and punching equipment, while providing training to colleagues where needed. * Prepare cost analyses and justifications for new products and product improvements to support project evaluation and decision-making. * Develop manufacturing support documentation (e.g. process sheets, work instructions, control plans) to reduce defects and boost productivity. * Collaborate closely with the Design team to support new product development, product changes, and process improvements, while also assisting other departments where required. * Research, justify, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies. * Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs), manufacturing routes, and standard operating procedures. * Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts/products and to identify cost-saving opportunities. * Carry out additional tasks as r...
