Protocol Education is supporting a number of well-regarded primary schools in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in recruiting confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for flexible, supply-based work.

About the Role:
* Cover whole-class lessons in the absence of a teacher using pre-prepared plans
* Deliver small group interventions and targeted catch-up sessions
* Support class teachers with daily learning activities and pupil progress
* Help maintain positive behaviour and engagement across the classroom
* Assist with feedback and support other teaching assistants where required
What We’re Looking For:
* A recognised HLTA qualification
* Prior classroom experience, ideally leading groups or covering classes
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to adapt
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Details:
* Start date: ASAP
* Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
* Contract: Flexible, supply basis
* Pay: £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
