De‑fleet & Commission Technician
Location: Walsall
Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Join the RAC and play a key role in supporting our iconic roadside operations. We're looking for a Fleet Preparation Technician to help ensure our fleet and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, enabling our Patrol colleagues to keep Britain's motorists moving.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the reissue of Patrol tools and equipment, helping to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency
De‑commissioning vehicles at the end of their lease cycle, including removing livery and disassembling fitted components
Valeting and preparing vehicles as part of the commission process
Travelling to and from suppliers as required (company vehicle provided)
What You'll Need
Strong knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
A full UK driving licence
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with a proactive and accountable approach to your work
