Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting various logistical functions. Duties
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload goods safely.
* Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
* Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
* Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for shipping.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
* Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote an efficient working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
* Provide support in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels effectively.
* Demonstrate mechanical knowledge when troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
Experience
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous.
