An exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate for a permanent position within the NHS Talking Therapies Southampton: Steps to Wellbeing leadership team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to fill the locality lead in the east of the city. This position also has responsibility for the LTC NHSTT specialism and will oversee the maintenance and continuation of the pathway development across the city with the support of a CBT lead.
The successful candidate will be expected to work within the Southampton team's 60/40 Face-to-face(base)/Remote working and fully support the service's evening and Saturday working arrangements.
Main duties of the job
The locality lead will be responsible for the day to day operational management, leadership and line management of staff within the locality. The post holder will work with the leadership team to ensure that national guidelines are adhered to, performance targets are achieved and robust clinical governance arrangements are in place.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of integrated working across the locality primary care networks.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

* Masters level training in a Mental Health profession or an appropriate relevant equivalent qualification.
* MBA or other equivalent managerial qualification or equivalent experience.
* In - depth experience of working in mental health services where multidisciplinary working was embraced as part of service deliver
* Experience of implementing New ways of working principles
* Ability to meet agreed/specified service targets
* Proven ability to communicate clearly in difficult and highly complex situations.
* In depth experience of implementing service policies and procedures
* Expertise and knowledge across the spectrum of an IAPT/ counselling services
