What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Audit team in Leeds. You will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing the audit process for each assignment. You will ensure clients are provided with a high-quality service through effective management of resources and liaison with relevant departments.
As Audit Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:
* Establish relationships with key contacts at the client.
* Ensure that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and expectations are exceeded.
* Identify issues and agree on resolutions with the client Partner or Director, keeping them updated on the job's progress.
* Maintain awareness of the commercial aspects of clients' businesses and their impact on our work.
* Identify and highlight opportunities for Evelyn Partners from the work undertaken.
* Hold regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles, and ensure expectations are met.
* Line management responsibilities for Associates, acting as a mentor.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).
* Have demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
* Possess strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
* Have experience supervising others and delegating work, with the ability to motivate staff for optimal performance.
* Be organized, capable of working on multiple assignments simultaneously.
* Proactively monitor costs against budgets for individual clients.
