Due to continued expansion our client, a well-established and reputable travel company is actively seeking an experienced, self-driven and dedicated Tours and Travel Coordinator to ensure exceptional and reliable customer service to all clients from booking through to post travel, ensuring the successful resolution of any client related travel issues.
Reporting directly to the Sales & Operations Manager, key responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for the day-to-day planning of all elements of a tour including itinerary planning, customer invoicing, ticketing, and final documentation
* Use effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and exceed their expectations
* Ensure accurate, customer friendly documentation is sent to clients and suppliers in a timely manner
* Actively seek out customer feedback and make use of this to constantly improve our services and our customers’ ever-changing needs
* Understand the needs of customers and work to simplify the tour booking process wherever possible
* Maintain a good, up to date knowledge of key visits and optional extras for each destination to add value and margin wherever possible
* Build long term relationships and maximise the retention of clients through excellent customer service and product delivery
