The Company
Our client offers an opportunity to work for a global distribution centre with over 50 sites across the UK. The company holds a significant market share in the automation industry. As a maintenance engineer, you will work on a fully automated site with cutting-edge machinery, contributing to maintaining the company's status as a market leader.
The Role
As a maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing planned preventative maintenance on automation systems to minimize breakdowns
2. Mechanical tasks such as fault finding on conveyors, rollers, belts, etc.
3. Electrical tasks including fault finding with multi-meters to isolate and lock off motors
Requirements
To succeed as a maintenance engineer, candidates should have:
1. Previous fault-finding experience in mechanical or electrical engineering (either bias)
2. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering
