Neo Environmental, an award-winning and market leading planning and environmental consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate landscape architect to join our expanding team working on large projects in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects across the UK and Ireland, with the main focus on renewable energy developments. Prospective candidates will be expected to have excellent report writing skills and be well organised with meticulous attention to detail. We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious person who is keen to learn and further their career. You will receive considerable training and mentoring as part of the role.
This role could be based from our Ballymena, Warrington or Galway locations - hybrid working offered.

Duties
* Support Senior Landscape Architects
* Pre-application submissions and meeting attendance with senior staff
* Providing landscape design advice relating to Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)
* Providing support on preparation of bids
* Providing input and support for Landscape Plans, Residential Visual Amenity Assessments (RVAAs) and other reports
* Undertaking site visits
* Engaging with other in-house multi-disciplinary team members
* Liaising with clients, local authorities and statutory consultees
* liaising with clients, internal staff and subcontractors
Essential Criteria
* At least Degree qualified in Landscape Architecture in Ireland or the UK
* Good communication skills
* Knowledge of LVIAs
* Good knowledge and understanding of UK and/or Irish legislation.
* Must be flexible and willing to travel
* Desire to work towards membership of the Landscape Institute (LI)
* Enthusiastic and ambitious
* Knowledge of the UK and/or Irish Planning system
* Willingness and ability to work independently and in a growing team environment
* Full driving license or working towards this
Desirable Criteria
* Experienced in GIS and other software packages
* Own transport
* LVIA Experience
* Interest in Renewable Energy
