Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Edinburgh or Birmingham as Business Development Sales Support on a permanent basis.
This role will be to provide proactive relationship management and assistance to Head of Nationals & Networks and Key Account Managers, to enhance our growth within the Intermediary market.
What will you do?
* Make inbound and outbound calls, send emails, manage campaigns, and handle inbound enquiries from Advisers on a National level.
* Ensure all Adviser data and activities are accurately recorded in our systems.
* Act as liaison between BDMs, Advisers, and Investment Managers.
* Attend and organize Adviser meetings, preparing all necessary documentation in advance.
* Provide contact data for national firms to the Key Account Manager for distribution.
* Participate in strategy meetings with managers to plan and organize activities.
* Coordinate with Compliance to ensure presentations are ready when needed.
* Work with marketing and event coordinators for national and network events.
* Distribute communications to BDMs and Advisers.
* Engage in ad-hoc projects as required.
* Follow up on new business inquiries to generate leads and understand the client base.
* Identify new sales opportunities and refer them to the Sales team.
* Support new National IFA relationships, account opening, and servicing.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Experience in a sales team and knowledge of the Adviser market.
* Understanding of regulatory and financial issues.
* Knowledge of compliance and risk management.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice-to-have
* Experience with Financial Clarity and FE Analytics or similar tools.
* Knowledge of RBC BD investment propositions.
