Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
What is my purpose in this role?
Working within the QA Degree Apprenticeship team, you will be providing coaching and mentoring to our students to successfully complete their Degree Apprenticeship programme.
What will I be doing?
* Managing, with some guidance, a targeted number of learners throughout their learning journey.
* Encouraging learners to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge in their day-to-day roles.
* Ensuring learners have clear objectives each term to support their timely progression.
* Providing coaching via appropriate methods tailored to individual learner needs.
* Supporting learners through their learning journey to successful assessment completion.
* Reviewing and providing feedback on evidence produced by learners to support Work Based modules.
* Identifying learners at risk of not meeting Gateway and assessment requirements.
* Proactively communicating with the Academic team to support learner progression.
What do I need to succeed?
* A technical background (e.g., Software development, data analytics).
* Industry experience within an IT Management role is preferred.
* Holding an MSc in a technical subject is required.
* Experience as a skills coach or in a degree apprenticeship background is preferred but not essential if you have a strong technical background.
