Summary
Position Summary
This is a great part-time temporary opportunity to assist the Financial Controller in supporting the Commercial and Marketing teams and ensuring the production of accurate and timely management information. This role is within our finance function at the Purina Factory.
A day in the life of a Finance Analyst
You will assist with the following responsibilities:
1. Period end reporting
2. Budget preparation and analysis
3. Material costings
4. 3rd-party interface
What will make you successful?
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive in managing responsibilities. Good communication skills are essential to enable understanding of financial information across the team. Being a strong team player is also important. Additionally, you should:
* Be part-qualified in CIMA (or equivalent) with a desire to gain full qualification
* Have strong numerical and planning skills with good attention to detail
* Possess excellent systems knowledge, including advanced Excel (lookups & pivot tables), and ideally SAP experience
