Are you a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We are working with weing and supportive primary schools in Cirencester who are seeking dedicated TAs to support pupils across the school.

The Role:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the classroom
2. Assist teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
3. Help deliver engaging lessons, including phonics, literacy and numeracy
4. Support pupils with additional needs (SEND, SEMH or EAL where required)
5. Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
6. Work closely with class teachers and other support staff
Key Stages:
We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across:
7. EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
8. Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2)
9. Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6)
Experience in any of the above is wee.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
10. Experience working with primary-aged children (school or childcare setting)
11. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
12. Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
13. A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
14. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
15. A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
16. A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
