Responsibilities
* Designing geotechnical structures including retaining walls, slopes, foundations and infrastructure.
* Carrying out Desktop studies and overseeing ground investigations.
* Groundwater & gas monitoring, borehole logging & soil sampling.
* Factual and interpretive report writing.
* Mentoring junior members of the team.
Requirements
To be considered for the Junior Geotechnical Engineer position you must therefore have experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and ground investigation. You must also have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred). A full and clean UK Driving Licence is also essential as well as living in or near to Doncaster and having a full right to work in the UK.
